In modern conditions of the development of Ukrainian civil society based on freedom, creativity, humanity, charity, value of life of any person, regardless of its virtues or restrictions, is crucial. The growth of negative dynamics of the presence of children with special educational needs and reduce the number of pupils in special schools, according to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, arises the question of the development of inclusive education and providing appropriate social and educational support.
The purpose of the course is psycho-pedagogical orientation of students for future professional teaching career in schools of special education, as well in institutions of inclusive learning, its content is important for development of professional ethical qualities and necessary for professional self-improvement and self-development of future teachers.
Objectives of the course: learning the theoretical and practical foundations of the course; creation of a knowledge and skills needed to work in an inclusive educational environment; training educational qualification of the”master” level for educational activities in schools with inclusive learning and special education institutions
A study of discipline a student must
know: concepts and terminology of inclusion; basic professional requirements to a specialist who works in the establishment of inclusive learning; modern philosophical foundations of educational activities in the context of inclusion; the role of social skills training and education of the child; the role of equipping productive learning environment for inclusive education of children in the classroom; methods, techniques, tools and forms of education of pupils with different special needs in inclusive classrooms;
be able to: analyze and evaluate the educational opportunities of the child; organize communication with children of all ages and levels of mental and physical development and family of the child with special needs
