  • alternative forms of secondary education, home education;
  • problems of social and pedagogical work in Ukraine and abroad;

Scientific biography

 

Iryna Myshchyshyn is an associate professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine. She was born in Lviv. The higher education was received at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Faculty of Physics), which she graduated with honors.

Since 1996 she has worked as an assistant of the Department of Pedagogy in the Ivan Franko University of Lviv. In 1999 she defended her candidate’s dissertation “Etical education of Ukrainian youth in the process of cooperation of school, the Greek-Catholic Church and the community (Galicia, the end of 19th century – the 30th of the 20th century)”, under the supervision of the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Iryna Kurlyak. In 2003 she became an associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy in the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

In 2004 Iryna gained an academic status of the associate professor. In 2005 she was a scholar of Queen Yadviga’s Fund in the Jagiellonian University.

She is a member of the Scientific Council of the International Scientific Journal “Charity, philanthropy and social work” of the higher state technical and economic school named after priest Bronislaw Markevych (Yaroslav, Poland). Iryna is a reviewer of magazines ” Seminare. Learned Investigations”, Warsaw, Poland, and “The Learned Society of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin”.

She is also the author of more than 100 scientific works.
