Project meetings and study visit
As part of the EC2U Forum in Linz (Austria), a working meeting of project coordinators of the TFK Prometheus project “Promoting Teacher Education and Innovative Pedagogy for Strengthening Capacities of Ukrainian Higher Education for Post-War Reconstruction” was held. The Ukrainian side was represented by Oksana Molderf, Head of the Project Support Sector of the Department of International Relations, Olga Stolyaryk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the Faculty of Teacher Education, Andriana Terekhovska, Specialist of the Project Support Sector of the Department of International Relations, and Irinja Paakkanen, Professor of the Department of Teacher Education, Head of the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CERLI), Mirjamäe Mikkälä-Erdmann, Head of the Department of International Relations, Partnerships and Strategic Engagement, Mirra Hakkinen, Research Fellow of the Department of Teacher Education, University of Turku.
The project aims to reorganize higher education in Ukraine in the context of crisis and post-crisis recovery through the development of a joint Finnish-Ukrainian certified educational program to improve the competence of university teachers in the use of crisis pedagogy, digital pedagogy, and inclusive education with an emphasis on resilience.
During the working meeting, the partners agreed on the schedule of meetings and tasks within the project, approved the schedules of study visits to the University of Turku, and discussed the content and teaching methods of the certified in-service training program.
