Inclusive education, the formation of a comprehensive care system for children with behavioral disorders (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder , etc.), differential instructions for children with special needs in the environment of special and general schools, reforming educational policy, development of civil society

During the period of work in the project was developed a course “Viability of NGOs” for representatives of civil society organizations working in the field of inclusion,

From 2010 to 2013, O. Fert was a Principle of the Lviv Inclusive Resource Center,  during this period the model of assistance for families with children, who have special needs, was worked out and described, inter-departmental interaction was established in  Lviv region.

  1. Fert took part in the development of the Inclusive Resource Center of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. As a post-graduate student of the Department of General and Social Pedagogy, She cooperated with the center, provided materials, organized seminars, etc.
  2. Fert developed the course “Differentiated Instructions in the Inclusive Classroom”,  the course “Inclusive Education and Methods of Working with Children with Special Needs”, taught  courses at the Ukrainian Catholic University for  2014-2015 academic year, and also developed a series of courses on relevant topics and taught them in the system of postgraduate education of teachers from 2009 to 2015.

She defended a dissertation thesis on the topic “Pedagogical bases of Activity of  NGO’s in the Field of Formation of Inclusive Educational Policy in Ukraine and Canada”, specialty 13.00.01 – General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy in Ivan Franko National University of Zhytomyr, December 16, 2014.

PhD since February 26, 2015.


2009-2013 – Consultant at the Canadian-Ukrainian project “Inclusive Education for Children with Special Needs in Ukraine”.
