Methods of education in the social and health care field (013z”Primary education”)
Course description
His discipline has a theoretical and practical nature and contributes to the formation of future teachers'
knowledge about health and the implementation of the content of the social and health-preserving educational
field.
The discipline "Methodology of education in the social and health care field" is a normative discipline for
applicants of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 013 Primary education (field
of knowledge 01 Education / Pedagogy), which is taught in 4-5 semesters in the amount of 3 credits
(90 hours ) (according to the ECTS European Credit Transfer System).
The purpose of teaching the academic discipline is: preparation of students of higher education for the
organization of a social and health-preserving educational environment in primary school, familiarization of
students with the educational programs of the National Academy of Sciences, the purpose, tasks, goals of
the State Standard of Primary Education regarding the implementation of the social and health-preserving
educational field, and as well as modern technologies for preserving and strengthening the health of younger
schoolchildren, forming their readiness for social and health-preserving activities in the educational
environment of primary school.
