Course description

The purpose of studying the regulatory discipline “Technology of primary education” is the formation of students’ knowledge, the ability to organize the learning process as pedagogical interaction with students, personal attitude to innovative pedagogical activity; to form readiness for the implementation of modern technologies in the practice of primary school. The main tasks of studying the discipline are:

– to acquaint the students of the faculty with the conceptual and theoretical provisions of numerous learning technologies;

– to generalize pedagogical technologies of primary school, to reveal their fundamental commonality, to highlight essential features;

– orient students to pedagogical creativity, independence, and research activities;

– apply the acquired knowledge in various spheres of professional activity;

– select and evaluate pedagogical innovations in accordance with the goals and objectives of the educational process of the New Ukrainian School;

– choose optimal innovative learning technologies in accordance with the individual capabilities of students of general secondary education institutions, their level of training and pedagogical conditions;

− to analyze and summarize the professional experience of innovative teachers;

– independently develop author’s pedagogical technologies in accordance with the goals and objectives of the educational work of the National Academy of Sciences.
