Course description


The purpose of teaching the academic discipline is: to acquaint students with higher education with normative documents that define the content of integrated education, the concepts of "integration" and "integrated education", the main approaches and methods of integrated education; identifying the common and different between integrated learning and interdisciplinary connections; formation of skills and modeling skills of an integrated educational environment.
The main tasks of studying the discipline "Fundamentals of integrated learning with methodology" are:
— to provide knowledge about the structure, content, nature, methodology and specifics of integrated education;
— to reveal ways of implementing integrated education in elementary school;
— to form in students of higher education the abilities and skills of modeling an integrated educational environment;
— reveal the essence of the concept of "integration", "integrated learning", "interdisciplinary connections", "thematic approach", "activity approach", "critical thinking", "integrated lesson";— to expand the outlook of future primary school teachers;
— to form in students of higher education the skills of using educational material in the specific conditions of the pedagogical situation;
— to form the ability of scientific analysis of pedagogical activity.
In accordance with the requirements of the educational and professional program, applicants for higher education must:
know:
— regulatory and legal framework, content, purpose, tasks of integrated education;
— principles and basic forms of organization of an integrated educational environment in elementary grades;
— basic approaches and methods of integrated education;
— peculiarities of the organization and implementation of self-analysis of pedagogical activity.
be able to:
  — make summaries of integrated lessons;
— to model integrated lessons;
— creatively approach the solution of pedagogical situations;
— to have techniques for analyzing the notes of integrated lessons and lessons;
 — work productively and independently, successfully engage in self-education;
— to show pedagogical abilities.
